Alien Resurrection

Cloned from her DNA, E. Ripley (Sigorney Weaver) returns to the world of the living 200 years later. Ripley however awakens just in time to witness the next generation of ignorant militants, in an effort to harness the alien's great power, risking mankind's very existence.

When a group of space pirates dock at the soon doomed medical research vessel, they bring an unsuspecting cargo of humans to be used as alien hosts, only fuel for the fire of their own possible demise. Multiple hosts of course means multiple problems, and with aliens closing in from all sides, you are sure to be in for the run of your life.

Containing by far the best special effects of the first four films, we are treated to some spectacular and horrific sequences that are visually stunning. Combined with an action-packed story and some great actors, this movie delivers some top notch sci-fi.

Parental Note: Language, Violence, Frightening Scenes

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but the extras are few.
