Area 88: The Blue Skies of Betrayal Vol. 1
Based on the Area 88 comic book series, "Area 88: The Blue Skies of Betrayal Vol. 1" from Central Park, is the first in a series of Japanese Anime that tell the story of Shin Kazama.
Shin, a recent graduate of flight school ,looks out to a bright future as a pilot with his love by his side. When betrayed by a close friend looking for personal gain, Shin finds himself part of a mercenary air force. Bound by contract, Shin far from his home in Japan, fights with a strong passion in hopes to once again be united with his true love and bring revenge for being double crossed.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the full frame pan & scan version of the film. The mastering is terrific, but contains few extras.
