The Avengers 1965: Vol.3
A brilliantly witty British secret agent television series, it only takes a single wonderful
episode to make anyone a fan of the Avengers. With three episodes on this DVD, you are sure to
be keeping your eyes peeled for other volumes.
The Murder Market - With the local marriage bureau not keeping their vows, odd goings on
has the death till we part arriving a lot sooner than planned. For John Steed and Mrs. Emma
Peel, it's about time they looked for more than a professional partner as well as some clues
along the way.
A Surfeit of H2O - One bizarre death and even more bizarre weather has The Avenger not
under, but out in the weather. Getting their feet wet, they get to the bottom of things, with
a flood of trouble always in their path.
The Hour That Never Was - As the air base where Steed was once stationed has reached its
time to be retired, he and other past and present residence decide to have one last bash.
However, upon arriving, the base is mysteriously deserted with a strange feeling in the air of
something afoot, something that has The Avengers flying into action.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the
show. The disc mastering is good but the video is interlaced and there are few extras.
