The Avengers 1966: Vol.1
The Avengers return for another smashing season as Mrs. Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) and John Steed (Patrick Macnee) match wits against any who dare impede upon Britain's best interests.
Silent Dust - When Britain's balance of nature is threatened by a deadly fertilizer in the hands of a madman, The Avengers are on the case, digging up some dirt on the latest criminal element. With everything dying in its path and only trouble growing, The Avengers are going to have to get their hands dirty.
Room Without a View - A missing scientist suddenly returns from an apparent foreign concentration camp mentally fragile, leaving puzzling questions about other missing scientists and secrets they may reveal. However, it's checkmate for the Chessman hotels when The Avengers foil Mr. Chessman and his information extortion strategy.
Small Game for Big Hunters - Two local Brits found in a coma like slumber, leave Voodoo magic as the obvious reason. Bizarre circumstances though have the natives restless and The Avengers getting no rest until they get to the bottom of things.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the show. The disc mastering is good but the video is interlaced and there are few extras.
