The Avengers 1967: Vol.2
It is said what goes up must come down, but for the Avengers, it is when something goes down it
always seems to come up on their agenda for action. Starring Diana Rigg and Patrick Macnee as
the ever-popular Avengers Mrs. Emma Peel and John Steed, get ready for classic British
television at its best.
The See-Through Man - When a formula for human invisibility seems to disappear from the
government's record office, supposedly taken by an invisible man, The Avenger are soon to be
seen on the case. However, even an invisible man leaves visible clues, and soon our dynamic
duo is seeing through another feeble ploy of the enemy.
The Bird Who Knew Too Much - When our feathered friends start working for the not-so
feathered foe, The Avengers are soon on the case with an eye to the sky. With a bird school's
top student haven flown the coupe and gone missing, foul play is suspected and the bird brains
behind the operation soon find them selves caged.
The Winged Avenger - It's a comic book caper as The Avengers go in search of a costumed
vigilante character right out of the comic books. Killing off the local corrupt corporate
power mongers, John and Emma search high and higher for the one taking justice into their own
hands...or claws?!
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the
show. The disc mastering is good but the video is interlaced and there are few extras.
