The Avengers 1967: Vol.6
Let the adventure begin as Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg star as the dynamic duo John Steed and Mrs. Emma Peel in yet another action packed volume of The Avengers. Without a doubt one of the best series classic television has to offer, one taste of this suave and sexy show and you'll be hooked.
Who's Who??? - Two enemy agents and a brilliant scientist develop the perfect cover to infiltrate Britain's security, become one of them. Trapping John and Emma, an intricate machine transfers the mind of enemy agents into The Avengers and visa versa. Now with the ultimate disguise, it means nothing but demise for Britain; that is unless the real John and Emma have anything to do with it. However, with themselves now the enemy, there's nobody but themselves to rely on.
Return of the Cybernauts - Seeking revenge for his brother's demise, Dr. Beresford recreates the unstoppable robotic cybernaut, but his true brainchild is the destruction of The Avengers. Kidnaping three of Britain's greatest scientific minds, the not-so-good doctor has them brew up the perfect formula for destruction.
Death's Door - With British delegates fleeing an international convention in fear of their lives, The Avengers are called into action to scare off any fears. When it is discovered nightmarish dreams have events leading up to their death unfolding before their woken eyes, John and Emma delve into these dreams for clues.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the show. The disc mastering is good but the video is interlaced and there are few extras.
