The Avengers 1967: Vol.7
With wonderful wit and captivating charisma, the dynamic secret agent duo of John Steed
(Patrick Macnee) and Mrs. Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) deliver topnotch action and adventure. A cult
favourite, this classic British television at its best is a sure favourite in any DVD
collection.
The L50,000 Breakfast - When a rich deposit of diamonds is found... in the stomach of a
hospitalized man, John and Emma, serving up the usual feast of adventure, go in search of a
smuggling ring with a hunger for diamonds... or at least that is as it first appears.
Dead Man's Treasure - Secret documents smuggled into England find their way into a
stranger's treasure chest. Now in order to get them back, The Avengers must win an elaborate
car rally and treasure hunt, one that quickly turns deadly with the chest first prize.
You Have Been Murdered - As frightened millionaires of Britain begin withdrawing their
fortunes in cash, only to go into hiding, The Avengers are soon on the case trying to make
sense of the situation. With the wealthy finding brushed with death almost routine, Emma and
John comb for clues before the next close shave.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the
show. The disc mastering is good but the video is interlaced and there are few extras.
