Bean: The Movie
Rowan Atkinson brings his greatly loved character Mr. Bean to life on the big screen and now
to our video screen in "Mr.Bean: The Movie". Mr.Bean is a quiet man, but as the saying goes,
"actions speak louder than words." In this case Mr.Bean would be anything but a quite man,
for trouble always seems to come his way, and if it doesn't he always seems to go successfully
looking for it. In this case Mr.Bean, often set to a British backdrop, makes his way to the
land of opportunity, America. What that means is a lot of opportunity for Bean to do what he
can to take the civil out of the so called civilized world. As the story goes Mr.Bean in an
attempt by his British employers to get him out of their hair, send him on his way to America
to accompany the unveiling of famous art piece "Whistler's Mother" by, of course, Whistler.
The Americans are expecting someone of great importance, sophistication and class; all of
which Bean drastically falls short.
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains both the widescreen and full frame
pan & scan versions of the movie. The mastering is top notch and the extras are great with
the nice addition of the OMC music video.
