Best Laid Plans
Love and life are two things people are bound to do anything to protect, but with both on the line the whole world can seem like one bad dream, for Nick (Alessandro Nivola) his life was more like a nightmare.
Carrying little more than a dream of leaving the small town of Tropico with the inheritance of his late father, things just start to go bad as the insurance company finds a technicality that leaves Nick with nothing. Now with the dream of leaving down the drain, he has little for second thoughts when the opportunity arises to make some easy cash being a getaway driver for a workmate pulling off a robbery.
When Nick however is fingered as an accomplice, the one robbed makes it clear to him that his life is on the line unless compensation is paid. Now between a rock and a hard place, Nick and his girlfriend Lissa (Reese Witherspoon) go to any means in order to save his skin, even destroying the life of an old college buddy Bryce (Josh Brolin).
A great film to see with big stars and plot twists that truly prove, as bad as things can get, they can always get worse.

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the extras.
