Ben-Hur
One of the greatest epics of all time, "Ben-Hur" starring Charleton Heston takes us on a momentous movie experience that is truly a must see.
An influential Jewish nobleman, Judah Ben-Hur (Heston) lived the life of luxury, but as the power of Rome continued to grow, a nearly fatal mishap finds him a slave in a Roman galley. A tale of adventure though, the story was far from over here as he would travel to Rome itself, becoming one of the greatest chariot racers before returning for vengeance against the Roman who had enslaved him and imprisoned his family.
A spectacular film, Ben-Hur shines ever so brightly on DVD with not only a stunning picture and sound quality, but plenty of extras sure to please.
Parental Note: Violence
The disc is double sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the extras.
