The Birds

Over the decades of movie making, few directors have risen above the crowd to create a name and following for themselves along with a superb collection of numerous films to stand the tests of time. Alfred Hitchcock however was one of these masters of the art, and "The Birds" is but one of his crowing achievements that will forever be a classic.

Looking for love birds for his sister, Mitch Brenner (Rod Taylor) runs into Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedron) in a pet shop, not knowing they would soon be a pair of love birds themselves. Charmed by the dark stranger, Daniels follows Brenner to the quaint little fishing village of Bodega Bay. However, she is not the only stranger to the village, and is soon convinced the village is for the birds as from savage seagulls to carnivorous crows, the skies become alive with the feathered fury of death.

Not too far from fact, the rare occurrences of bird attacks swoop down in full force as Hitchcock delivers his usual flare for chilling tales with plenty of wonderful effects and a story not to be missed.

Parental Note:Minor Violence, Frightening Scenes
