Blade Runner
Many a movie fan would have this movie as number one on their list of favorites. Harrison Ford stars in this action packed adventure, as a futuristic cop sent into the streets of New York on an assignment to hunt down some very troublesome androids. The androids known as replicants but often lovingly referred to as skin jobs are in search of the ones that created them in hope that they may be able to extend their all so short lives.
The disc is dual sided with the widescreen and pan & scan formats on opposite sides. Unfortunately the disc does not hold up as good as the movie. A fair bit of flaws and dirt in the film show up on the disc which should have been cleaned up. As well many of the cuts are far from clean and are made more noticeable by the super sharp picture of DVD. Looks like a bad original or mastering job.
