Blast from the Past

It is said that everything old is new again, but as our way of life changes so fast these days much of that cherished in days gone by will be forever lost. However, in one "Blast from the Past," a family from the early ‘60s enter into a bomb shelter to avoid a supposed nuclear attack. Entombed for 35 years, they become a human time capsule and when son Adam (Brendan Fraser), born in this shelter, emerges to the surface, he finds much more than the expected nuclear wasteland.

When he meets Eve (Alicia Silverstone) Adam is introduced to a world much different than he could ever imagine. Attempting to help an uncultured Adam fit in, Eve discovers that sometimes all that is new isn't necessarily better.

An absolutely fabulous movie, this one will have you rolling and remembering with this hilarious look at days past. One not to miss, it's an absolute blast.

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie as well as the full frame pan and scan. The mastering is excellent, but the extras few.
