Braveheart

An absolutely superb piece of film making that will stir emotion like only true movie making magic can, "Braveheart" directed by and starring Mel Gibson as William Wallace is a tale of courage and bravery that timeless legends are made of.

Ruling 13th century England with a wickedly dark hunger for power and little to no compassion, King Edward the First in a quest for even more, turns his attention to Scotland. Now for the Scottish, all they own and even their freedom begins to slip away, with little they can do against the almost limitless and powerful armies of England. However, for William Wallace, when this oppression clearly oversteps its limits, with a burning hate in his heart and a glint of freedom in his eye, he bands together the clans of Scotland to stand as one against their enemy.

A movie not to be missed and never to be forgotten, it is not hard to see why it won five Academy Awards including best picture, as acting directing, story, music, camera work and everything else needed to make an unforgettable movie comes together flawlessly in this outstanding epic adventure.
