The Brothers McMullen
Director, writer and actor Edward Burns brings us "The Brothers McMullen," a tale about
the many faces and facets of love, and how it affects a small Irish family. Winner of best
picture at the Sundance Film Festival, the story finds itself suffering from the plague of low
to no budget, but manages to pull off some decent performances.
Quite similar to his next and far better film "She's the One," this film with its great audio
commentary by Burns may prove insightful to those producing independent films with little
budget.
Parental Note: Language, Sexual Content
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen as well as the
full frame pan and scan versions of the movie.
The mastering is great, but there are few extras.
