Chain Reaction
As man continues in his love of fossil fuels, the Earth continues to suffer more and more as pollution levels continue to rise. Fortunately the solution is simple, convert to a clean abundant source of energy. Unfortunately, getting there isn't all that easy and the path to be taken will step on many toes along the way.
For researchers Eddie Kasalivich (Keanu Reeves) and Lily Sinclair (Rachel Weisz), the answer was just beyond arms length as they worked to harness the abundant power of hydrogen found in a common glass of water.
Even though quite hush hush, the experiment could not help but turn a couple of heads such as those of Paul Shannon (Morgan Freeman), who with a taste for power can be a much needed ally. However, when this much power and information is at stake, corruption quickly breeds to overcome any amount of allies.
First rate action and adventure as well as terrific writing and performances come together to make "Chain Reaction" a movie not to be missed.
Parental Note: Minor Language, Violence
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
