Close Encounters of the Third Kind
One of the greatest science fiction movies of all time, writer/ director Steven Spielberg dazzles us with the unforgettable movie spectacle "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
Like many others, Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) just wanted answers to the incredible light show he experienced in the sky above. For many, they simply chose not to believe, but when an incredible vision drives him into obsession, Roy finds himself driving across the country not really knowing what to expect.
Wonderful effects, incredible performances as well as brilliant writing come together to bring us a breathtaking piece of movie-making not to be missed and a fantastic addition to any movie collection.
Parental Note: Language, Frightening Scenes
Disc 1 and 2 are single sided - dual layered, disc 1 containing the original widescreen version of the movie, disc 2 the full frame extras. The mastering is excellent, as are the many extras.
