Colony
An ever growing race of aliens with the power to control the minds of other beings, is left dependent upon these others for their very survival. Unfortunately, each new race discovered having trouble adapting, is left extinct in about a year. The real trouble however is that those of the planet Earth are next on their list.
Humans though prove unique to these aliens as about 90 percent remain immune to their mind control. Now with hopes of finding a solution to their problem, they bring four humans aboard their ship for study. Here, one courageous young man reaches the heart of a sympathetic alien, giving hope to the survival of mankind.
A television movie produced for the Sci-Fi Channel, it shows its television roots with the less than Hollywood quality effects and writing, with little in the way of a familiar face. Other than that, it is sure to prove entertaining for most fans of sci-fi and those who want to brush up on saving the planet from aliens.
Parental Note:Nudity, Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the movie. The mastering is terrific, but the extras few.
