Jodi Foster stars in this film about being contacted by another race in a planet full of sceptics. The movie is well paced and jammed pack full of great camera work and special effects but not the little green men you might expect. It comes across as more of a scientific sci-fi versus a shoot-em-up, which in turn really helps the movie to become all the more believable.
The disc is single sided - dual layered with the picture only in 2.35 widescreen, which is nothing to complain about for with all the great photography and special effects, the picture would likely really suffer in full frame. The movie is very well mastered and even the layer change pause is well placed and subtle. The extras on the disc are great, and give you an incredible look into the production of the movie.
