Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
I've seen a fair bit of what far east film has to offer for martial art fans, and without a doubt, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" ranks among the finest. Not only starring Asian superstars Micheal Yeoh and Chow Yun-Fat, the movie showcases some absolutely stunning martial art choreography that has to be seen to be believed.
Although released with English subtitles, you shouldn't have as much trouble keeping up with the reading as you do the jaw-dropping speed of the action.
With a dash of comedy, romance, a great soundtrack and some spectacular settings thrown into the mix, this movie is a masterpiece of Asian cinema.
Parental Note: Violence, Minor Sexual Content, Adult Situations
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the several extras.
