Dragonheart: A New Beginning
A true rarity, this straight to video sequel holds up incredibly well next to the fabulous
original tale of Dragonheart.
Decades after the first adventures and presumed last of the dragons Slain, a young monastery's
stable hand dreams of adventure as a knight, unaware that the secret of the monastery is what
holds for his true adventure.
Eventually finding his way into the depths of the monastery, Geoff (Chris Masterson) comes to
meet Drake, a young dragon born of an egg found many years ago. Promising never to leave the
monastery in the efforts of keeping his existence a secret and his life out of danger, Geoff
along with Drake soon find themselves wandering the countryside out of the sight of men.
However, with times of foretold trouble soon to arrive, Geoff and Drake find their friendship
and what they truly desire from life put to the test.
Parental Note: Violence
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version
of the movie. The mastering is good, but the video is off sync, and the extras are few.
