Dr. Dolittle 2
Eddie Murphy is back walking and talking with the animals in "Dr. Dolittle 2" as the good doctor himself.
Now quite the celebrity and quite busy in his veterinarian practice, the doctor finds himself helping the animal kingdom in a whole new way when the call of the wild calls for his help as a logging company threatens to flatten their home. Discovering the only way of saving the forest being to mate an endangered bear species with one performing bear of the same species, Dr. Dolittle is given the project of reintroducing this cultured creature into the wild.
Both charming and packed with laughs, Murphy and a pack of wonderful voice talent including Steve Zahn, Lisa Kudrow, Isaac Hayes, Andy Dick and Michael Rapaport, not to mention the wonderful animals themselves involved, make for a menagerie of movie-making that is fun for the whole family... pets included.
Parental Note: Sexual Overtones
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
