Dr. Dolittle
Eddie Murphy walks with the animals, talks with the animals as the classic character of Dr. Dolittle.
As a child, he casually enjoyed the ability to converse with the family dog; but after the tragedy of his unbelieving father thinking the game had gone on far too long, shipped off his best friend. From then on, the young Dolittle shut out his remarkable ability.
Now much older, with a family of his own, and little memories of his gifted past, Dolittle comes to discover much to his own terror, that he has regained his long lost gift of gab with the animal world. His gift, never accepted in the world he lived in as a child, becomes just as hard to be accepted now, not only for him, but for those around him.
An enjoyable movie that will get laughs from viewers of all ages, it features many popular and well recognized comic actors lending their voices to the animal kingdom.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but the extras are few.
