Dragon's Lair
Within the walls of the Smithsonian Institute stand pieces of American history that have shaped
it into what it is today. Of a very small handful of video games is "Dragon's Lair," the 1983
game that would forever change the face of video games.
From animator Don Bluth and his creative team arose an animated cartoon like no other. Filled
with action and adventure, the viewer is taken on an interactive journey in control of Dirk the
Daring.
Now as technology for home entertainment reaches a new plateau, Dragon's Lair is available like
never before, allowing it to played in your very living room. With DVD technology at the
cutting edge, Dragon's Lair actually comes alive in a new brilliance even better than the
original. Additional bonus materials like interviews with the creators, footage from the
original 1983 rollout and previews of other interactive animated games, make this the ultimate
format for any fan of the original game and a piece of American history no one with a DVD
player should be without.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of
the game. The mastering is a bit off sync, but the extras are great.
