Edward Scissorhands
Tim Burton works his wonderfully wild weirdness as our imaginations are taken on a fantastical
journey that is a true treat to our senses.
With an incredible cast including Johnny Depp as "Edward Scissorhands" himself along with
Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest, Vincent Price, Alan Arkin and many more, a brilliant display of
acting brings to life an already magical story.
Created by a lonely and kind hearted inventor (Price), from cookie cutter to charming creature,
Edward slowly became more and more human. Unfortunately, even at the lonely house on the hill,
death comes knocking and the aged inventor passes on before completing Edwards final form. Now
isolated and alone is how Edward, left with scissors as hands, spends his days, that is until
the Avon Lady (Wiest) comes knocking. Showing to him the world outside in the hopes of taking
him out of the cold dark shadows of his home, she soon realizes the world outside is truly
colder and darker as Edward is never really allowed to fit in.
Pure movie magic, this artfully elaborate and beautiful film is one not to miss, and with the
incredible score of Danny Elfman, it is one both of sight and sound.
Parental Note: Minor Violence, Sexual Overtones
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version
