Escape From the Planet of the Apes
Leaving Earth onboard the ship that traveled to their future, apes Cornelius and Zira escape moments before the planet's destruction. Traveling back in time to present day Earth, they discover a race of humans killing their world with greed while at the same time proud of their achievements. Learning what the future holds for their planet, Cornelius and Zira are quickly looked to as a threat by mankind.
A wonderful third installment in the Planet of the Apes series, a captivating story and superb makeup work are accented quite nicely by an underlying theme of human self destruction and blind brutality to the world around them.
Parental Note: Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but few are the extras.
