Fifth Element
Bruce Willis stars as Corbin Dallas, a futuristic ex-military cab driver given the ultimate
mission to save the world from an evil force that appears every 5000 years. This fast flying
non-stop zany journey through the streets of New York and beyond is nothing short of an amazing
piece of visual artistry, with writing directing and editing keeping perfect tempo throughout
the movie. In addition a great soundtrack and special effects to match make this film comes
alive with a life of its own. One thing that does seem a bit odd, but we've all met at least
one of them in our lifetime, are some definitely odd characters that do indeed take a bit of
getting used to.
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains both the widescreen and pan & scan
versions of the movie. The disc is well mastered, but totally lacks any extras. The movie
had a great trailer, but it's not even on the disc.
