The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas

Although Stephen Baldwin delivers wonderfully the voice of Barney and Jane Krakowski looks the role of Betty, these are the only improvements beyond the special effects "The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas" hold over its 1994 Flintstone predecessor. Not surpassing however does not mean unentertaining as this movie delivers plenty of Flintstone fun for the whole family.

Traveling back to the days before Fred and Wilma were the Flintstones and Barney and Betty the Rubbles, we join our prehistoric pals Fred (Mark Addy) and Barney (Stephen Baldwin) in their quest, not for fire, but for companionship. Courtship though can be complicated even for the most sophisticated primate, but lucky for them, the Great Gazoo (Alan Cumming) has traveled across the vastness of outer space and is about to lend a much needed helping hand.

From the burger joints of Bedrock to the Ritz of Rock Vegas, their pursuit of Wilma Slaghoople (Kristen Johnston) and Betty O'Shale won't be easy, but as we know so well, every Flintstone ending is good one and sure to have you having a Yabba-Dabba-Doo time.

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
