With possibly his last ball game before him, Billy Chapel (Kevin Costner) looks intently from

Now at age 40 with a 19-year career under his belt, he contemplates the road before him, while
not forgetting the one behind. A life of ups and downs, it now rests at one of its low of

"For Love of the Game."
A wonderfully touching movie, filled with fabulous acting, directing, camera work and more, it
is a true home run of baseball movies that you will not want to miss. Based on the novel by
Michael Shaara, it unfolds as a great piece of writing and film-making, taking place during a
baseball game, it is interwoven with flashbacks in a brilliant concept that is brought
seamlessly to film.
