The Fly/ The Fly 2
Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis star in the 1986 remake of the classic thriller "The Fly," Goldblum a brilliant scientific mind and Davis an eager journalist who is captivated by not only the man but his incredible transportation machine.
Excited by the first successful transport of a living creature, the scientist wastes little time in becoming the first human to teleport. Once through, the following days bring some unexpected benefits of strength and agility, but over time a slow mutation process reveals the genetic fusion of a fly that got into the machine and himself. Horrified, but unable to help, the reporter can only sit back and watch this terrible transformation.
With the best and undoubtably the most terrifying special effects of the Fly movies, "The Fly 2" follows the life of Martin (Eric Stoltz) the son of the original mutated scientist and heir to a genetic nightmare.
At first accelerated growth was his only abnormal sign, looking like a young man by the age of five, but soon to follow were changes far worse than puberty.
Co-starring Daphne Zuniga as Martin's Girlfriend, this movie is a fantastic sequel to a wonderful classic remake.

The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
