Ghostbusters
If there's something strange in your neighbourhood, everyone knows who you're gonna call...
the "Ghostbusters" of course, and in this wonderfully humorous film of phantoms, we join a star
studded cast comical cast that is sure to please.
Kicked off University grounds, their grants canceled, doctors Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray
Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) go into business for them selves, a
business anything but normal, in fact it's paranormal. What they soon find out is that the
business of spooks and specters is big business, but could this boom in business mean something
big... perhaps the end of the world???
A fantastic story, written by stars Aykroyd and Ramis, the movie delivers great acting from
additional stars such as Sigorney Weaver and Rick Moranis. The special effects however, are at
times weak, but none the less hold up even by today's standards.
When all is said and done, and the once ghostly streets of New York are safe again, we are left
with a movie destined to be a classic and sure to be an addition to many a movie collection.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the
movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the numerous extras.
