The Ghost and the Darkness

Based on a true story, the chilling tale could not have been told better had it never happened, and the fact that it did only adds to the power of this thrilling adventure.

Building a railroad across eastern Africa, Britain brings in one of their best bridge builders John Patterson (Val Kilmer) to help insure they keep ahead of the competing French and Germans. Now on a tight schedule, the wilderness around them shows its true untamed savage strength as workers begin to fall victim to a small pride of man killing lions.

A breathtaking masterpiece, nature will indeed instill deep fear in your heart for its majesty, cunning and truly brutal force. With magnificent performances including those of Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas, along with writing, direction and camera work to match, this movie is a must for any DVD collection.

Parental Note: Violence, Frightening Scenes
