Head Over Heels
With so many people running the streets of New York, finding that perfect someone to fall "Head Over Heels" in love with is a near impossibility. For Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter), it seemed even more impossible due to the fact her life seemed to be dictated by a horrible streak of falling for the wrong guy. That was until she met Jim Winston (Freddie Prince Jr.) and found herself believing in love at first sight.
As doubt and experience though find themselves holding her back, the longing for love soon wins out and she takes the plunge. Just as quickly though she discovers he may be a cold-blooded killer, but as her new found friends search for clues, she finds herself falling madly in love.
The entertaining story and wonderful performances get full marks, but the movie falls a bit short in the writing department as the movie continuously fights within itself to be believable, while all the while plagued by a vein of stupid goofiness.
Parental Note: Minor Language, Sexual Overtones
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
