Jaws 4: The Revenge

A sudden shark attack one cold winter evening, leaves Ellen Brody's (Lorraine Gary) son Sean the latest casualty of a bizarre white shark attack. Now alone with only the gloom of winter, her eldest son Michael convinces her to return home with him to the Bahamas.

Trying to cope with her recent loss, Ellen finds herself with a growing paranoia of the water, and with much good reason as lurking just below the surface is her worst nightmare. With a strong determination to bring revenge for the past, this vengeful great white follows the family to the sunny south with nothing but Brodys on the lunch menu.

An entertaining movie and fourth installment in the Jaws series, it contains a handful of familiar faces including Michael Caine and Mario Van Peebles. However, it does at times tend to drag due to a toss up between weak writing and acting.

Parental Note: Frightening Scenes

**

The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is terrific, but their are no extras. Of note, the packaging states the movie is in 1.85:1 widescreen, when indeed it is 2.35:1 widescreen.
