Johnny Mnemonic
In the year 2021, information is one of the most valued commodities, and with the unreliable security of the Internet, those wishing to have valuable data transferred often turn to mnemonic couriers. These elite agents, equipped with data storage brain implants, are often the most reliable, but for them anything but the safest.
For one agent, "Johnny Mnemonic" (Keanu Reeves), becoming courier for the little known cure to NAS (Nerve Attenuation Syndrome), a disease plaguing most of mankind, ha soon finds his head highly sought after, attached or not.
A terrific story backed up with a great mix of effects, acting and adventure, we are taken on one high- tech trill ride sci-fi fans are sure to love.
The only major disappointment of the DVD is the fact the film is only presented in the full frame pan and scan instead of the original widescreen.
Parental Note: Language, Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the pan and scan version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
