A Knight's Tale
With the dream since childhood of becoming a knight, William Thatcher (Heath Ledger) rode with royalty, getting as close as he could to the jousting tournaments, but unable to compete due to the lack of royal blue blood pumping through his veins.
Along with traveling companions Wat (Alan Tudyk) and Roland (Mark Addy), serving their own knight in shining armor, this gave them the opportunity to live near luxury. However, his passing on in death left them without their free ticket to ride, but the rare opportunity to jump into the driver's seat. Now impersonating royalty, Thatcher and his companions head to the next tournament and with the aide of new found friend Geoff Chancer (Paul Bettany), he is given a new identity as Sir Ulrich.
Tournaments awaiting, first rate action and entertainment soon ensue, with wonderful writing, performances, effects and adventure leading the way on one unforgettable medieval masterpiece of movie-making.

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the several extras.
