The Ladies Man

Saturday Night Live certainly isn't the show it once was, and this is quite apparent as it brings Tim Meadows character Leon Phelps to the big screen in "The Ladies Man."

Nothing short of an immense collection of risque sexual references, the movie pushes toilet humour to the point that it just stops being funny, leaving us with a potentially humourous story and characters buried in a barrage of bad writing.

A late night radio DJ and self-proclaimed ladies man, Leon Phelps dishes out disgusting drivel and bad advice on love, receiving as many complaints as callers. His boss desperately seeking the opportunity to kick him off the air, wastes no time once it arises, leaving Leon looking for work elsewhere. This however is far from the worst of his problems as also in his wake, this ladies man leaves a mob of men madly seeking revenge for the unbridled love he's shown their wives.

Starring not only Tim Meadows, but as well Will Ferrell, Lee Evans, Billy Dee Williams and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, this disappointing endeavor is but an extension of Saturday Night Live's current comedic slump and the disappointing levels of comedy it has stooped to.

Parental Note: Minor Language, Brief Nudity, Major Sexual Content
