Life is Beautiful

A movie like no other, writer, director and star Roberto Benigni brings us a comedic romance that will touch our hearts with sorrow and fill them with hope. Truly an outstanding piece of film-making, it will capture your very soul with its breathtaking beauty as it overflows with movie making magic, transporting you to another place and time.

Stopping at nothing to win the heart of his love, Guido (Benigni) conquering all obstacles, now lives a picture perfect life with his wife and their five-year-old son. Timing is however anything but perfect as with the commencing of the second world war, his family being Jewish is sent off to a Nazi concentration camp. Here separated from his wife, Guido uses all his effort to hide the bitter truth from his young son, turning life at the camp into a game.

Winner and recipient of dozens of awards worldwide, Life is Beautiful touches the heart like few films have as we share with Guido his struggle to hide his pain and hopeful look to each new day. A magnificent film and a definite must see!
