Mission Impossible 2
A spectacular piece of film-making, director John Woo delivers nonstop action and excitement in
his ever-popular trademark style. Combine this with the talents of such actors as Tom Cruise,
Ving Rhames, Anthony Hopkins as well as the many others, and you have a recipe for success.
Away on Holidays, Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is called back into action as a once trusted agent goes
bad, stealing a deadly virus and its sole antidote in the hopes of selling it for a fortune.
Although the movie as a whole is nothing short of breathtaking, a few not so magical moments
filled with bad writing, botched effects or fight sequences (one really obvious example being
the wire guided extra smooth landing of the motorcycle on the bridge near the end of the film),
are sure to leave many wondering who fell asleep in the editing room, letting those shots slip
into the finished film.
Parental Note: Violence, Adult Situations
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version
of the movie. The mastering is excellent, as are the extras.
