Mortal Kombat
From video game to home video, the ever-popular fist-flying fighter "Mortal Kombat" makes a flawless transition to feature film, bringing with it not only the characters, but plenty of martial art action. In addition, wonderful special effects and a driving soundtrack will keep the adrenaline pumping from start to finish.
The fate of the world lying in the hands of Earth's greatest fighters, for three of the elite Liu Kang, Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, Raiden the god of thunder and lightning becomes their guide as they prepare to face the minions of a powerful emperor preparing to invade.
A fantastic rush for any martial art fan, the out of this world adventure packed into this movie is sure to please and deliver action like you've never seen before. The best thing though about its transition from video game is that after playing the movie for over an hour and a half, you won't have sore thumbs, although you may have sore fingers from clinging to the edge of your seat.
Parental Note: Violence
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen and full frame pan and scan versions of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
