Mutant
Trying to get from the craziness of city life, two brothers take a road trip into the country looking for some rest and relaxation. Finding themselves stranded in a "blink and you miss it" town after having car trouble, the odd small town folk soon become the last of their worries.
Much of the town falling victim to a strange sickness, it leaves few on the streets by day. However by night, the streets come alive with once common townsfolk now mutated by some bizarre chemical reaction into blood thirsty creatures.
Reminiscent of Night of the Living Dead, as these mutants fear light, it is a race against the odds in an effort to survive until daybreak. Packed with plenty edge-of-your-seat suspense, this movie though falling into the B grade, still delivers some decent acting, but best of all, a wonderful story sure to give you a good old scare.
Parental Note: Violence, Frightening Scenes
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
