Never Say Never Again
He likely thought he'd never do another Bond film, but Sean Connery soon learnt to
"Never Say Never Again" as he reprises the legendary role for one last time.
The only Bond film not to be released by United Artists but by Orion, this remake of the classic
Thunderball film features all the Bond beauties and gadgets we have come to expect, but absent
are many of the actors recognized as Bond regulars.
With the infamous S.P.E.C.T.R.E. once again up to no good, they find themselves in the
possession of two stolen U.S. nuclear weapons. Now holding the world hostage, the leader of
the British secret service, wishing to retire Bond, is left with little choice but to call him
back into action.
Yet another thrilling installment in the Bond series, the movie features plenty of action and
adventure, along with a strong vein of comedy running through it. The film is also graced by
well- known stars Kim Basinger and Rowan Atkinson, as well as director Irvin Kershner of Empire
Strikes Back fame behind the camera.
Parental Note: Violence, Sexual Overtones, Adult Situations, Drug Use
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version
of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are almost no extras.
