Odin: Photon Space Sailer Starlight
Equipped with the latest in space travel technology, the starship Starlight is about to set sail on the high sea of stars. With sails open and the earth in its wake, a group of weathered senior crew and a group of high-flying hot shots straight from the academy under their command, embark spaceward for adventure.
Responding to an S.O.S. in deep space, the Starlight comes upon a bizarre magnetic force which holds the secrets to an ancient alien race from a distant star. Once a story believed to be only myth, the lost world of Odin becomes a bright hope full of possibilities for mankind's future. However, for the crew of the Starlight, the uncharted vastness of space holds many unknown perils and plenty of edge-of-your-seat adventure.
Full of wonderful animation, action and adventure, "Odin: Photon Space Sailer Starlight" provides some great anime that is out of this world. Featuring a double dose with both the standard program as well as the director's cut in the original Japanese with English subtitles, you better buckle-up for an adventure that shoots for the stars and is sure to please.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is good but the video interlaced, and there are no extras.
