Pinocchio
Three years after Disney's first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, came the
1940 animated classic Pinocchio. Now with well over half a century gone by since its original
release, it is the first Disney animated feature to make its way to DVD.
Even after all these years, Pinocchio exceeds much of the animation quality even seen today.
With a richness and beauty that only adds to the magic of its unforgettable characters and
story, it is not hard to see why it still remains a favourite among the animated classics.
Young or old, there are few who don't know by heart the adventures of everyone's favourite
wooden youngster on his journey to become a real boy. Facing as much trouble as any little boy
could get into, he proves to be more than a handful for his newly assigned conscience Jiminy
Cricket and his father Geppetto.
With or without children of your own, this is a title not to miss adding to your DVD
collection.
Parental Note: Minor Language - Some may find the use of the word Jack Ass offensive with
its double meaning.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original full frame version of the
movie. The mastering is terrific, but there are few extras.
