The Princess Bride
Dashing, daring and delightful, The Princess Bride takes us on a wonderful ride filled with comedy and swashbuckling adventure. Truly charming, it is one of those grand movies that fall into the "entertaining for all ages" category, and is sure to be a highlight of any DVD collection.
From the arms of his true love, Westley (Cary Elwes) heads off to earn the money they need to marry. However, upon the news of his death, she finds herself soon to be unwillingly married to a scheming prince. With little hope left, a small band of men find themselves combining their skill, brains and brawn to fight for justice and truth.
A stellar cast including the likes of Cary Elewes, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon, Christopher Guest, Wallace Shawn, Andre the Giant, Fred Savage, Peter Falk, Billy Crystal and many more, only add to the incredible richness of a story you are sure to love, filled with its unique blend of wonderful and witty writing.

The disc is double sided - single layered and contains both the original widescreen and full frame versions of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
