The Prince of Egypt
One of the greatest moments in human history comes to the video screen in such splendor it is
surely to take your breath away.
"The Prince of Egypt" from Dreamworks tells the story of Moses and his upbringing as the son of
the pharaoh of Egypt, only to discover his true roots as one of the Hebrews used as slaves.
Disgusted by the treatment of his fellow men, he flees Egypt only to return under the command
of God himself to free his people.
True to the original story of Moses, this animated feature is a wonderful mix of 2D and 3D
animation techniques with breathtaking special effects.
Adding their talents to the over 350 animators, artists and technicians, an outstanding group
of actors bring their voices together in this production. Among the many, Val Kilmer is the
voice of Moses, Ralph Fiennes - Rameses, Sandra Bullock - Miriam, Danny Glover - Jethro, Jeff
Goldblum - Aaron, Steve Martin - Hotep, Michelle Pfeiffer - Tzipporah, Martin Short - Huy,
and Patrick Stewart as Pharaoh Seti.
Big actors, big story and one big production team come together in something so big,
it's of biblical proportions.
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the
movie. The mastering is terrific, as are the many extras.
