The Return of Captain Invincible
With the world in a deadly predicament after Mr. Midnight (Christopher Lee) steals the powerful hypno-ray, people from around the globe once again call for "The Return of Captain Invincible" (Alan Arkin). However, after being called a communist sympathizer in a vicious propaganda attack, the hero has fallen into a drunken stupor on the remote island of Australia.
Now years later, the world has little choice but to say sorry and once again look to the skies for help from the amazing Captain Invincible.
Both funny and amusing, it falls also into the stupid and cheesy categories, but performances by Arkin and Lee at least keep it amusing.
Parental Note: Minor Language, Brief Nudity
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
