Rising Sun
Starring Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes, Rising Sun takes you on a thrilling hi-tech murder
mystery.
A young woman found dead during an exclusive dinner party for the Japanese electronic
mega-corporation The Nakamoto Group leaves many puzzling questions. Not wanting this to affect
their current negotiations for production of military technology, Captain John Conner (Connery)
and Lieutenant Web Smith (Snipes) are on the case to find the murderer.>
With the disc containing the surveillance video missing, the brilliant and experienced Conner
takes us on an intriguing venture into the world and customs of the Japanese. When the missing
disc surfaces, the murderer appears to be obvious, but looks can be deceiving.
A truly unique and intelligent movie, the dose of mature subject matter is the only thing
hindering the movie from appealing to a broader audience. Full of great writing, direction
and music, the film also delivers some terrific acting including the talents of Tia Carrere
and Steve Buscemi among other familiar silver screen faces.
Parental Note:Language, Violence, Adult Situations & Nudity
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the
movie. The mastering is terrific, but the extras few.
