Romeo & Juliet
A truly unique and modern remake of William Shakespear's timeless classic Romeo & Juliet, a driving hard-edged energy permeates the tale, keeping true to the original text, but shedding new light to the classic visual interpretation.
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes as the two destined for ruin lovers, each from separate warring families, incredible performances by each as well as Brian Dennehy, Paul Sorvino, John Leguizamo, Pete Postlewaithe and many others in an all star cast, make for a Shakespearean encounter you are sure never to forget.
For true lovers of the classic, this modern remake may seem a bit harsh and hard to swallow, but with time, it will be hard to resist such a wonderful tale in any form.
Parental Note: Violence
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
