Samurai 1: Musashi Miyamoto

Winner of the 1955 Academy Award for the best foreign film, Samurai 1 follows the path of a troublesome man seeking fame through war. However, he becomes more trouble than anything for the local town's people.

Within a town in uproar, a priest and young woman see the true spirit of this man and not only save his life, but set him on the true path of becoming an honoured samurai.


The disc is single sided - single layered and contains only the full frame pan and scan version of the movie. The mastering is great, but the extras are sparse.
